The Battle Of Kadesh was lead by Ramesses II of Egypt versus Muwatallis II of the Hittite Empire, in 1247 B.C. the Hittites hasd between 2,500 and 3.500 chariots and 37,000 infantry, while Ramesses II had 2,000 chariots and 20, 000 infantry. They meet on the Orontes River near Kadesh. Accounts vary on who was the winner, though none can disagree to the fact that it is the largest chariot battle to ever take place. It's also the oldest battle in the ancient world to be recorded extensivly.
